About Us

Welcome to Leadsled Bordeaux! We breed the Dogue de Bordeaux. We were previously located in Oklahoma but just relocated to the beautiful state of Oregon. We have been involved with this breed for a few years now, we love them dearly and have become somewhat obsessed with them. All of our puppies are AKC and UKC registered, and are raised in our home. They are raised with our 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter. Our goal is to produce beautiful healthy puppies. We could not imagine living without this wonderful breed, they are a big part of our family. 

About the Dogue de Bordeaux

The Dogue de Bordeaux, sometimes referred to as the French Mastiff or Bordeaux Bulldog, belongs to a group of dogs called the Molossers. Molossers are descendents of the Molossus, a dog that lived around 700 b.c. The Dogue de Bordeaux has had many jobs including cattle herding and guarding the vineyards of Bordeaux. They are powerful, fearless, and despite their size they are surprisingly athletic. However, beneath all that toughness is a sweet, lovable character that is extremely devoted to their family. Making them a wonderful companion.
